You should have a couple of frames up with letters from the kids. After 12 yrs teaching 5th graders, it is helpful after a hard week to open up the 'happy box' of letters. The systems beats them and us down and it's nice to remember that you have a positive, lasting effect on the kids. I get paid crap but am rewarded more than NBA MVP! Love the letter! You must be great in the classroom! :)
She is smarter than several of the parents in my 6 year old's class too, that's sad. I bet you were so touched, how sweet! Now get out the red pen and correct it, it will help her self asteem.
I read your comment over at vegASS about falling down. Hope you are okay. I can totally relate to things sucking because of falling down...or at least I have been for the last sixteen days, but who's counting?!

so cute and sweet. :)
I just had to be the first one to say so! :)
oh my gawd that's so adorable. that is just so adorable. nice group of little monsters there.
though i was half expecting the note to say "ms. Wose."
dan-e stole what i was gonna say...
your kids are freakin adorable
Very nice and very cool.
But also a bit alarming for me. That's better penmanship, spelling and grammar than most of the middle managers I work with. And much nicer thoughts.
I think I'm working with the wrong people.
Awww... adorable! Not every day one gets thanks like this!
Dear Ms. Rose,
You are my favrite teecher two. Its mostly becuse you have reely nice boobees. And you are funny. And pritty. You make lurning fun.
P.S. So you're meen to the kids, huh?
MoMo - too cute huh?
Dan - nope, all the monsters know how to spell my name. Pronouncing it is another matter.
Knitty - adorable for the most part but not all the time. Hence the "meen" comment in her note.
Bill - she is one of my "smarties" as I call them. And her grammar is better than her mother's.
Chicky - it makes the lousy pay and massive amounts of paperwork worth it. Almost.
Prick - stop looking at my boobies. And you bet I'm meen! I'm the meenest teacher in the whole world!!!
Ok I'm not even close.
So you're the cool teacher? That's like the coolest of cool!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy!
Danielle - I'm cool to 23 six year olds. That's cool enough for me!
Jiggs - you are the best cheerleader! Can you wear a skirt when you do that?
Von Kablooie - she is six. Her spelling is excellent, you tool.
Ditto what Bill said. I couldn't tell you what any of my co-workers penmanship looks like though. You know, computers are ruining us.
For six, I think her spelling's pretty damn good. I'm pretty sure it's better than mine was. She's certainly got a good phonetic sense.

That would melt even the Grinch's heart.
That's so sweet.

only i'm allowed to look at her boobies, cactus prick. and even then only if i'm outside her balcony window.
(it's this weird fetish she has. one of many.)
tear...
That is just adorable beyond words.
Egan - yes, computers are ruining us. And just try to give them up. Even for a day. I dare you.
Bill - she's my little smartie. I tell her all the time. She also takes great delight in pointing out any errors I make.
FH - a happy box of letters! I love that idea!!!
TRM and Jill - I know, it's nauseating huh.
Tumbleweed - her grammar is better than most of the parents I deal with as well.
Dan - are you starting a fight with Prick over me? So cool.
lilred and Girl - too cute huh? I need to post something a little less adorable now.
I was wearing a skirt when I did that. Here's another spontaneous cheer:
Go Brookie, show what you can be!
I tried to think of things that rhymed with brooke and ms. rose and it was hard, so I gave up.
That really is too sweet. :)
You let them color and do projects?
Allowing them to enjoy themselves does not properly prepare them for adulthood.
That is cute, but please tell me you don't teach high school.
Just kidding. I know you teach combat techniques to police trainees.
Oh my god. That is too cute.
I'm so looking forward to letters like that. Did he get an 'A' for being extra specially nice to Ms. Wose?
This letter is too adorable for words.
