At least you get to feel the excitement of summer vacation...I wish my elementary school teachers had warned me that one day I would not have summer vacation....

Sometimes when I'm having a bad day at work, I refer to my lunch break as recess hoping that it will brighten my mood....it doesn't though!

Yay! I was wondering what it was you were counting down to.
I'm glad I didn't find out that Americans finish school early until I was out - I would have been a jealous little girl.
We go right till June 30th!

School being out scares me. All the baby-sitters are let loose. ;-)

Sizz - you can say that again!

Michaela - I like how you think. Have you tried hanging upside down from the monkey bars during lunch? That might help.

Princess - my school system gets out fairly early, but we pretty forgo spring break to make that happen. Hated it then but loving it now!

Toby - pervert.

Todd - peel me a grape?

Flounder - blame the long lines at the gas stations.

CV - Definitely! I think! Probably! Uhhh...I'll get back to you...

What WILL you do with your time?

Nance - we don't get paid in the summer, which means I have to live on a budget. The horror!

Penelope - thanks! Guess this means I have to actually find something to write about that won't bore people to death.

Rich - I thought I'd spend the summer stalking you obsessively.

Despite my best efforts and perspiring brow, I can think of no comment to make on this post. But it sounds like a fine idea as long as those free-spirited youngsters don't egg my house.

(I'm practising to be an old crank.)

You're 5 days in by now - hope you're making the most!

(Philosophical point:
As you get older, summer holidays feel shorter, so they should be longer. So by the age of 40, summer holidays should last 11 months. Yes).
