I've heard that teachers are very forgiving and that super model boyfriends are allowed one slip before being kicked off the island. Have you heard that?
Brooke, being a teacher, if you're "with" a guy and he does something wrong, do you make him do it again? Does he have to show his work?

When is the first day???!!! I know it comes in early August in Florida.
I remember how scared I was, too, the first year. And you know what, every year I always got the same "first day" anxieties that the kids got! LOL....
But it was always fantastic and wonderful. And it's gonna be fun! And if it isn't, then you are gonna make it FUN!

how fun. i'm getting so excited for lovie to go back to school. for some reason i love school supply shopping. i guess i love office supply stores in general (i have a pen and pencil facination - trying to find the perfect one).

Being a teacher has to be one of the hardest and most under-paid jobs out there. Bless you!

This is just so grown up of you. I am jealous, in that odd sort of you have such a respectful job sort of way.
If you get nervous, just imagine all the students naked.... uh, forget that. Not a good idea. Imagine me naked. Uh, not a good idea either. Let me go to the gym a couple of times and I'll get back to you. Imagine yourself naked. Woo hoo. Works for me.
Good luck with teaching Brooke. I have the utmost respect for teachers. One of those professions that definitely deserves to make way more money than they do. I have contemplated teaching numerous times, but for some reason I shy away every time.

Also, the rules are two of five that the average primary teacher puts up in the classroom from the very first day. You all may be able to keep your hands and feet to yourself, but 34 six year olds can't!

Hey Brookalina :) If your blog is any indication as to how fun you are, your students are gonna have a blast! I can already imagine them whispering to themselves "hey, she's really cool!" They'll be as scared and uncertain as you are those first few days. Sheesh, it sure brings back the memories. :)
