Say hello to my little friend

Well boys and girls, I did it. I've met the man of my dreams. He's smart, handsome, loving, and loyal. And he sits on command! He's perfect! So what if he's a sloppy kisser and only seven months old - he's the one I've been waiting for. We met this past weekend at a festival on the bay and it was love at first sight. He was working the kissing booth - also known as the table for the Humane Society - and I couldn't take my eyes off of him. All the other girls there wanted him too, but HA!!!! I won! I always did go for the pretty boys. I went to visit him today, and he was so happy to see me he almost wet himself! Actually he did wet himself, but that was a one time thing. It was clear we were meant to be. I so wanted him to come home with me today, but apparently he needs to have a little "procedure" done before he leaves his temporary digs. Ahem.

I'm thinking of calling him Riley. But I will take all suggestions until he moves his cute little tail in on Thursday.

What a cutie!

You could name him Blue in honour Daniel... or would that be Speedo?

On the weekend we just got a green Budgie called Possum. We'd love a dog again but small, feathery, and not in need of late night walks suits our current lifestyle a little better at the moment.

He's beautiful. And you don't have to pick up after him, like a human guy. Well, actually, you do...

He looks like he loves you already...

Congrats on finding the love you've been waiting for! He better be good at snuggling and always be happy to see you when you come home. :)

now all you need is to put up a nice white picket fence around that new house.

Or one of those ones that shocks the dog's neck.

Hooray!!! You're making all your dreams come true, just like Laverne and Shirley!

Perhaps you should call him "Lenny," "Squiggy" or "Carmine"

or Rugby

Or Fritz

or Neutered

Hmm ... that all sounds very familiar.

Congrats to you both. I like Riley and Molly Bloom agrees. She likes him, but I think she has a thing for younger men.

Tim's fence comment was interesting. I'm looking to put up a fence now because Molly is roaming everywhere. And like most women, she completely ignores me.

Awww, how precious. I like Riley. I think you should stick with it. My family had one named Austin. They're like the best dogs ever.

He's a handsome young man ... blond kind of like Viggo.

I love Riley; it seems to fit.

what a beautiful dog! congrats.

as for names, you're a football fan so how about naming him along those lines, like 'gruden,' or something.

Now that's a cute puppy. Congrats on the new companion. I hope he's all you could wish for and more. So you got a house and a doggie, this is all very good news my friend. I think Riley is a cute name for him, keep it.

Riley is a great name.

Other great dog names: Newton, Albert, Omar, Dick, Trip.

Although, you know... Albert is more of a great cat's name.

Nice dog.

You are both such cuties. The man of my dreams slobbers just as much, but doesn't dismantle the garbage.

I've said hello to your little friend. He never said hello back. he's either very rude or very stupid. I'm thinking rude. I'm not yet ready to face the fact that cartoons have lied to me about dogs being able to talk.
