My favorite song. Ever. While there are many songs that I love, none have ever knocked The Boys of Summer from the top spot of my list. It is at once nostalgic, heartbreaking, inspiring, and gorgeous.

Wild Rose Hip (aka: Scarlet Hip): the pomaceous fruit of the wild rose plant. The stems of the wild rose are prickly, but its hips are not.

I regret to inform you that I am hereby revoking my name from consideration for "Scarlet Hip's Favorite New Person". You seem like a very nice person yourself, and I have to say that I think I like you quite a bit as well. However, I hate the Eagles with a passion. And their greatest sin was breaking up and unleashing roughly a threefold increase in their collective musical output, the worst of which was issued in the name of Don Henley.
I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE this song.
