I'm with Dan-e and Justin. I does taste exactly like pine needles. I never really liked it. Got a Gin and Tonic once and I was like drinking a desert. Maybe the gin was too dry...
If your Gin tastes like pine (juniper), buy better gin. Not more expensive, cause Junipero is an expensive gin that has strong pine flavours. Try Citadelle or that damn yuppie but lovely to drink Bombay Sapphire... oh, yeah, and Gin is not blue, not even Reisetbauer, nice gin but it was not blue like they promised... bastards!

Lushy McLusherton.
It looks blue to me..
Mmm ... Perhaps that's Bombay Sapphire, my favourite gin? (Although, strictly speaking, only the bottle is blue.)
Indeed, gin rules. Nothing like gin to give you a grin. Well, except sex. But that's more a big smile than a grin. I ramble...
That picture is a work of art!
Mmm...gin.
Me likey.
Also, limoncello.
so i'm the only one here who thinks gin tastes like liquefied pine trees?
No. I agree. It is bad.
That's one pretty drink. Reminds me of a curacao martini I once had. Although my drink looked a bit more like Windex than your gin.
