I'm moving. I'm not sure if I've made that clear to everyone in the blog world. Saturday morning I leave the sunshine state once and for all to head home to the motherland - the Jersey Shore.Florida has been good to me, much as I hate to admit it. I've made wonderful friends. I've been able to spend a lot of time with my family members who all seemed to migrate down here around the same time that I did. I went back to school and finally attained the college degree that has eluded me all these years. I found my calling as a teacher and have never been happier with my career. Florida has served its purpose for me, and for that I am grateful. But now it's time to move on.
I'm a Jersey girl and proud of it. It's home, where I belong. I've missed the salt in the air, the change of the seasons, and the community of a small town. I look forward to reconnecting with old friends, spending time with mom, and starting life afresh.
