Too Much on My Plate
Moving. End of the school year. Masses of paperwork. New teaching licenses. Red Tape. Packing my classroom. Packing my apartment. Uprooting my whole life. Generally. Freaking. Out.
All this, plus a stomach bug that has caused me to spend more time in the bathroom than the bedroom for the last three nights. If I could run on the gas gurgling around in my belly, I'd be just fine. By the way, did you know that chewable Pepto-Bismol tablets taste just like NECCO wafers?
I'll post something mildly interesting soon. At least I'll try. Right now I'd give up sex with Gerard Butler for a good night's sleep.
OK that's a lie. But I am really very tired.

Hope you feel better soon Miss Brooke. Good luck with the move :)
uprooting your life??? whats happening?
best way to get rid of that stomach bug is to get a strong laxative and blow everything out your colon. then flush everything out with a couple gallons of water.
just a thought.
so our date is off?
hope you feel better soon...that's a lot to deal with when you are feeling in tip top shape.
Moving? Ugh. After this year, I don't want to think about moving for at least a decade.
And illness to boot? My sympathies ... Hope you feel better damn fast.
Take care, Ms. Wose. And drink tea. I don't know why, but I always like tea so what harm could it do?
I wish I lived closer so I could help out.
Those Pepto tablets don't do shit. Go for the liquid. There's nothing better.
Put a sleeping bag and pillow in the bathroom. That way you can be comfortable and close to bed.
Just take some time to sleep this weekend.
You have chewable Pepto-Bismol in America? Wow! Here in England I think we're still stuck with the liquid pink gunge...
Are you moving back to Jersey?
Feel better soon. I KNOW how stressful moving can be, especially to another state. Make lists and schedule times to do things. Also, don't forget to breathe. You've done this before and you can do it again.
last time I puked, it was all over my penis.
great lube.
Brooke:
Maybe you could talk Danny into giving you a colonic - you know, as foreplay.
me too.
brooke--OMG, it must be a Teacher Virus; I have the same thing. I've had tummy rumbles for almost a week, belching in class (they find it highly entertaining), mild nausea, and now the bathroom thing. Honey, feel better soon. Summer's almost here.
Gas in your belly. Hot.
You know, in the 1991 Cape Fear, this sheriff guy, that DeNiro eventually kills (spoiler!) drinks Pepto mixed with Jack Daniels. Me and my friend tried that. It tasted really good.
Maybe you should do that. Being drunk and gassy has got to be more fun than dealing with it sober.
Rich - thank you. It seems I have finally kicked the bug. And I lost 2 pounds!
Darth - moving back to NJ. Don't you dare make fun.
Dan-E - believe me when I tell you, my stomach needed no help blowing everything out. That was the problem.
Dan - believe me, I wasn't looking my best. Or feeling my best. Or even smelling my best.
Sizz - thanks. I do feel better now, however the stress is still there. OY!
Bill - I hate moving. It sucks big fat donkey balls.
Katarina - they actually worked for me, which was good because the idea of swallowing that liquid made me sick. Seriously, I thought about it and puked.
Ariel - we do! We are a very modern society here in the US.
Tim - I am indeed, which means you and I will eventually wind up drinking together at one of the local watering holes.
BV - you give such sage advice. Will you come here and hold my hand and help me breathe? Thank you.
Danny - I'm so glad I read that when I was feeling better. However, I no longer want to fuck you. Ever.
Leezer - don't encourage him. Please.
Spinning - no! Are you sick too! Damn stomach virus, it's gone national!
Nance - and you too!! Good lord. Too bad we don't live near each other. At least we could hold each other's hair.
Justin - did you say "Me and my friend tried that"? For Christ's sake, you are a Princeton man!
And no, being drunk would not have helped, though it usually does in most cases.
clear liquids, honey.
read my fave doc's post on this, http://bunkonhealth.blogspot.com
i think it's called diarrhea or something equally inviting.
I'll send lots of energy for your move. I love to move. If it would not be for the kids I would be on the road already :)
Glad you're feeling better, Hoochiemama. Well, physically anyway. But New Jersey? Clearly still sick in the head.
If you're trying to bag Gerard, talking about your intestinal distress is not the way to go. I don't think. Of course, I don't know him. Maybe he's kinky that way.
Hope you are feeling better, Brookelina.
You've moving? I must have missed something. I don't pay attention very well sometimes.
*hugs*
stomach viruses suck balls. I got so dehydrated once that I had to go to the emergency room.
new jersey and you (and me) perfect together
Because I love you...
Hugh Jackman
I know the Necco wafers well, but not the Pepto. Good luck with the move north.
Oh man! Let me see if I can get Gerard back on the phone. I just canceled this Butler doctor visit I had arranged for you -- then I read your last line.
sigh.
Hey, feel better!
Moving is the number one sressor in life I am told.
I think pepto bismol is neco wafter.
Sleep is better than most things in life... ;)
